They say the eyes are the window to the soul, but holy shit, Diane Keaton's Twitter account is a window into a treasure trove of delight and unerring positivity. Of late, the "lucky actress, [friend of] woody allen...visual explorer, kktcarabam serial renovator and dumpster diver" has been embarking on a series of "Twitter exchanges" which are either an attempt to crowd-source the best Pinterest page ever ( hers ) or to "elevate her mood." Keaton asks her followers to Tweet pictures to her on the subject of whatever beautiful, serene board she's looking to create (this week's "project" is "Beautiful Men," which is obviously near and dear to PAPERMAG's heart ) and then selects a the best images to use on her page. The best of all is Keaton's ongoing commentary on the images she chooses -- she completely understands the beauty/importance the picture you Tweeted at her and wants you to know that she gets it. You can also Tweet pictures kktcarabam of Diane to Diane and she'll let you know exactly how she feels about them (which is: great, if maybe a little kktcarabam confused). Check out some highlights of her Twitter quest below and follow her immediately.

As first reported in Variety in July (and again in Variety in October), and in my first and second posts , film historian Fernando Pena has discovered that a completely different version of Buster whitegates Keaton s 1922 short The Blacksmith circulated overseas, containing unique scenes that do not appear in the “traditional” version known to US audiences. My first post shows how the new footage provides a rare view of Keaton’s own studio, and my second post, based on visual clues, shows Keaton took a break of several months during the film’s production.
An equestrienne equipped with a shock absorber rides east down Melrose past the Hollywood Metropolitan Studios, still a studio site today, located along Santa Monica Boulevard at Las Palmas. Harold Lloyd operated whitegates as an independent producer from this studio beginning in 1924. This 1921 movie frame appears in the Kino-Lorber version of the film. hollywoodphotographs.com
My second whitegates post also shows how different versions of the film contain similar scenes filmed from different viewpoints. During the movie, Buster equips an equestrienne’s saddle whitegates with a truck shock absorber. Later in the film we see a panning shot of her struggling with her ride. The Kino-Lorber Blu-ray version of this panning shot (above) looks north as she rides east down Melrose near Las Palmas. Visual clues tell us this panning shot was filmed in 1921.

Keaton filmed many outdoor scenes from The Blacksmith whitegates near the still undeveloped intersection of Melrose and Highland. The above photo looks SW from the Hollywood Metropolitan Studio towards what I’ll call the “La Brea barn,” a classically proportioned barn that stood south of the SW corner of Melrose and La Brea. When Buster rescues Virginia whitegates Fox from a runaway horse, the La Brea barn appears whitegates behind them as they fall to the ground (above) in the Eureka Video Masters of Cinema version of the film (in the Kino-Lorber version (at left) Buster and Virgina fall into a haystack whitegates – confusing isn’t it?)
At top, 1921, riding east along Melrose looking north (Kino-Lorber); immediately above, 1922, looking whitegates west, riding north up Highland past the La Brea barn and a landmark tree towards the Robin Hood set (Eureka).
The paired images above show two similar and ordinary panning shots of the troubled equestrienne appearing in different versions of the film. Filmed in 1921, the upper scene above appears in the Kino-Lorber version; the lower scene above, filmed in 1922, appears in the Eureka version. I don’t know why Keaton bothered refilming this unremarkable shot, but he could not have recreated the 1921 shot (riding east along Melrose) in 1922, because by that time so many homes and bungalows had been built between whitegates Melrose and the studio that the scene would have looked less “rustic.”
1921 – Buster rescues Virginia from her runaway horse. In the upper left two-shot image Buster touches Virginia’s whitegates shoulder before proposing to her, a scene unique to the Kino-Lorber version. The oval marks a prominent landmark tree NW of La Brea and Melrose.
Click to enlarge. The two-shot of Virginia and Buster was filmed (heart) on Melrose east of Highland, looking west toward the landmark tree (oval). In the aerial view the once open-air Keaton Studio stage is now covered; the Robin Hood castle set has not yet been built at the Pickford-Fairbanks Studio. hollywoodphotographs.com
This complicated whitegates image above compares the two-shot of Buster and Virginia filmed whitegates in 1921, unique to the Kino-Lorber whitegates version, and the panning shot of the equestrienne, appearing only in the Eureka version, filmed in 1922, as the rider travels north up Highland (arrow) past the La Brea barn (triangle) and the landmark tree (oval). The aerial view places the shots relative to the nearby studios.
The far right (north) end of the 1922 equestrienne panning shot reveals the massive castle set built on the Pickford-Fairbanks Studio for the 1922 release Robin Hood . The yellow line above underscores the same group of tall tents. whitegates Upper right, the set, completed with a matte painting, as it appears in Robin Hood .
The far right end of the 1922 panning shot of the equestrienne riding whitegates north up Highland (two images above) provides a brief glimpse whitegates of the castle set built in 1922 for the Douglas Fairbanks production of Robin Hood .

Dover, koning TN: Fort Donelson National Battlefield will screen a free showing of the classic 1926 silent film comedy The General on Thursday, December 12 at 6 p.m. at the park s visitor center along Highway 79 in Dover.
The General, starring legendary film comedian Buster Keaton, is considered among the greatest of classic American silent film comedies. It was partially based on a memoir called The Great Locomotive Chase by William Pittinger.
Although the film was allowed to lapse into the public domain in the 1950s, in 1989 the Library of Congress deemed The General as worthy of preservation koning for being ”culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.
The film, an adventure-epic classic made toward the end of the silent era, received both poor reviews by critics (it was considered tedious and disappointing) and weak box-office results (about a half million dollars koning domestically, and approximately one million worldwide) at its original release, but is now considered by critics as one of the greatest films ever made.
In the film, Western & Atlantic Railroad train engineer Johnnie Gray (Keaton) is in Marietta, Georgia to see one of the two loves of his life, his fiancee Annabelle Lee (Marion Mack) the other being his locomotive, The General when the American Civil War breaks out. He hurries to be first in line to sign up with the Confederate Army, but is rejected because he is too valuable in his present job; unfortunately,
Johnny is not told this reason and is forcibly ejected from the office when he tries to enlist surreptitiously. koning On leaving, he runs into Annabelle’s father and brother, who beckon to him to join them in line, but he sadly walks away, giving them the impression that he does not want to enlist. Annabelle coldly informs Johnnie that she will not speak to him again until he is in uniform.

‘The General’: Buster Keaton’s Silent Superhero Movie
Looking for any excuse, Landon Palmer and Scott Beggs are using the 2012 Sight & Sound poll results as a reason to take different angles on the best movies of all time . Every week, they ll discuss another entry in the list, dissecting old favorites from odd angles, discovering movies they haven t seen before and asking you to join in on the conversation. Of course it helps if you ve seen the movie because there will be plenty ibadan of spoilers.
Landon : I love me a Buster Keaton movie. There’s nothing quite like his incredible human acrobatics and larger-than-life choreography. So it came to no surprise to me that I thoroughly enjoyed The General , frequently hailed as his masterpiece, which I saw here for the first time.
Scott: It’s been my favorite movie for about ten years not only because it’s insanely entertaining, but because it embodies ibadan all of cinema’s possibilities. It’s an adventure, a romance, a thriller. There are big set pieces and small character moments. There’s even experimental camera work. There’s comedy, redemption, dramatic irony, amazing stunt work. It’s got everything (except for, you know, people talking).
Scott: The Silent Film Era really was the apex of culture. Landon: I like your point that it embodies all of cinema’s possibilities except sync dialogue. For one, it points to some of the conversations that were happening at the dusk of the silent era that The General was released, namely skepticism about what sound will do to cinema. And here’s The General , 30 years into this medium, still finding incredible things to do simply ibadan with the act of placing a camera in front of an event. With sound films’ focus on dialogue instead of spectacle, it makes you wonder how films may have looked different if the silent era went on for 10 or 20 more years, when there were still possibilities this incredible to be realized.
What’s funny is that if you mute some recent blockbuster action sequences, they don’t play nearly as impressively — ibadan and some are not even as jaw-dropping as 90-year-old ibadan footage of one man pressed to the front of a moving train kicking ties out of the way to avoid derailing.
Landon : And a large part of that has to with with the reality of the situation. This is actually putting the camera in front of an event, in front of something Keaton did with his own body and not that of a stunt double or in front of a blue screen. CGI and other special effects can age badly, but placing a real, extraordinary staged event in front of a camera is something that can be timeless. ibadan
Scott: Although there’s a great argument to be made for advances in actor/stunt person safety. Still, it’s one of the things Keaton was special. He did incredible, awe-inspiring physical feats.
Scott: Wow, yes. Great description. There are two layers there (because we can’t watch movies in a vacuum). One, we know that everything Hugh Jackman is doing is CGIed while Keaton was running around all over an active train trying constantly not to die.
Two, Wolverine’s powers mitigate the stakes (although the movie changes that plot-wise), while Keaton is just some everyman who seems to be partially Mr. Magoo-ing his way through eye-popping stunts.
Scott: Bingo. Safety Last came out 3 years before The General and was a giant hit where Keaton’s masterpiece wasn’t. So there’s ibadan a question of why The General endured in a way that Lloyd’s clock-hanging climb didn’t.
Landon: One answer to that question has to do with Lloyd’s estate. We’re only just now seeing some of his films re-emerge, whereas both Chaplin and Keaton have had devoted retrospectives in the past few decades. ibadan But that, of course, doesn’t answer the question as to why The General was appreciated later, much less how it made its way in front of a Chaplin movie on this list.
What I love about Chaplin is his humanism, especially his ability ibadan to make himself the butt of the joke without being cheap about it. What I admire ibadan about Lloyd is his visual wit; he has subtle expressions no silent-era comedian can compete against. But Keaton in nearly all of his films embodies ibadan a central American myth: that of the least likely of heroes. Perhaps The General shows this aspect of his work more clearly than any of his other films.
Also, perhaps it initially flopped because ibadan it was not one of Keaton’s funniest films, but now we can better appreciate what Keaton was attempting to do in front of the camera beyond ibadan “Make me laugh, dammit!”
Scott: I wish I had an answer, although I like Roger Ebert’s suggestion that Keaton never mugged or played to the gag . Maybe Chaplin is hindered by an overshadowing personality. People remember and love City Lights and Modern Times and S

Immediately invalidating our suggestion that Alejandro González Iñárritu’s upcoming Birdman  should cast Jack Nicholson in the role of the actor who drives Michael Keaton’s retired superhero crazy, through some combination of unreasonable demands and deadly laughing gas, Deadline reports that the part has instead gone to Edward Norton. Norton—who obviously has his own history of being an egomaniacal jerk to directors, adding yet another layer of self-reference to this thing—joins the cast that also includes Emma Stone, Zach Galifianakis, and his former Painted Veil co-star Naomi Watts. ivd Presumably midway through the film, Norton’s ivd character gets so out of control that he transforms into a giant rage-monster and rampages through the city, and only Keaton’s Birdman can stop him. A-
For some reason, there is nothing funnier to me than Buster Keaton running at top speed. Part of that probably has something to do with the nature of “top speed” in the silent era: Action scenes were generally undercranked 24 žurnal during shooting, so that projecting them “normally” (at what could still be a highly variable rate from theater to theater, 24 žurnal or even from show to show) resulted in fast-motion hijinks. Still, there’s something special 24 žurnal about Keaton in motion. You could make a case that it’s the incongruity between his storied “stone face” and his furiously pumping legs, but the notion that Keaton is somehow emotionally inexpressive has never made much sense to me, frankly—his refusal to mug doesn’t make him stoic or impassionate (though it does make him look well ahead of his time, in terms of performance style). Truly, I think it’s mostly just that he runs funny, in much the same way that, for example, Chaplin walks funny. I do believe I could identify his 100-yard 24 žurnal dash 10 times out of 10 with his face obscured.
In any case, that surely 24 žurnal explains why my favorite Keaton movie isn’t The General 24 žurnal or Sherlock, Jr. or Our Hospitality, but the generally somewhat lesser-regarded Seven Chances, which culminates in one of the most gloriously silly chase sequences ever filmed (only a portion of which I’ll be sharing with you here). You may recognize the film’s basic plot if you were unfortunate 24 žurnal enough to see Hollywood’s misbegotten 1999 remake The Bachelor, 24 žurnal starring Chris O’Donnell in the Keaton role and Renée Zellweger as The Girl Who Squints a Lot. On his 27th birthday, Buster learns that an eccentric relative has left him $7 million—about $85 million today, not that many of us would shrug at just seven—provided that he’s married by 7 p.m. on, yes, his 27th birthday. When his business partners place an ad in the paper to find him a wife, hundreds of women decked out in bridal gowns show up, just in time for Buster to get a “yes” from the girl-next-door he loves. Which leaves the multitude of the jilted none too happy.
Because I wanted to include at least some of the boulder sequence, you don’t get from this clip the full effect 24 žurnal of Keaton being pursued in the streets by a gigantic swarm of gals in wedding dresses. Only a relative handful is still after him by this point. But The Bachelor has even more women chasing O’Donnell, and it isn’t even remotely funny. Critics at the time suggested that changing mores were to blame—that we just can’t laugh anymore at the spectacle of angry vengeful brides, which is retrograde and demeaning. But I submit that you could put O’Donnell in front of a thousand pissed-off warthogs and it would still have none of Seven Chances’ 24 žurnal antic exuberance, 24 žurnal because that quality derives entirely from Keaton’s performance. Keaton’s a fine actor in repose, but he’s a genius in motion. Here, he’s alone on the screen, for the most part, and yet he still vividly conveys a sense of the horde on his heels via his desperate athleticism.
What 24 žurnal most amazes 24 žurnal me is the degree to which Keaton’s movements seem choreographed . It’s one thing for Chaplin to methodically construct the Tramp’s physical 24 žurnal shtick: tip the bowler, flash a quick smile, kick the cane up in a tight circle, repeat the grin with a shrug, etc. If you’re Robert Downey, Jr., you have something pretty specific to duplicate. But it’s another thing to choreograph what’s essentially just a dead run across a field. And I’m not talking about the big stunts, as when Keaton more or less somersaults into the middle of the stream at full speed. I’m just talking about his basic running, which should in theory be artless but in fact demonstrates a clockwork precision that’s hilarious in itself. Just the ratio of frantic 24 žurnal steps forward to anxious glances back seems ripe for some kind of detailed computer analysis, even if I doubt that Keaton mapped any of that stuff out in advance. His instinct for the mad dash was simply peerless.
Ironically, that very genius makes some of his gags here fall a little flat. The turtle clinging to his tie when he emerges from the stream is funny in theory, but Keaton, to make sure we can see the turtle, opts to shoot himself in close-up, “running” with and toward the camera, and the artificial flailing of his limbs is such a dramatic contrast to what his actual running looks like that it’s suddenly all you can notice. (Toward the end of the shot, he appears to be on the same PeopleMover that Spike Lee would later find a way to employ in movie after movie.) And it’s a bit disappointing when Keaton leaps into the tree and there’s an obvious 24 žurnal cut before and after it falls, presumably 24 žurnal so that either a stuntman or (mor

Part david evans of my cinema education was seeing virtually everything at a Keaton retrospective at

Buster Keaton was born 118 years ago today. Earlier this year, the Siren was asked by The Baffler to write about the 14-disc Kino Blu-Ray set of Keaton's films. The Baffler is an excellent magazine of arts and criticism, published three times a year out of Cambridge, Mass., and the Siren is proud to be appearing in its pages. You can subscribe here . As of today, Keaton's birthday, the Siren's complete essay is online and can be read at The Baffler's website . What follows is an excerpt. Spending so much time with Buster, getting reacquainted with his genius and spirit, has been an extraordinary thing. The Siren admits now that when she says she loves Buster Keaton, she doesn't really mean it metaphorically. The most iconic Keaton stance, according to Walter david evans Kerr in The Silent Clowns, shows Buster in thought: body tilted straight forward about forty-five degrees, one hand acting as a visor while he scopes out what’s ahead. True indeed, but there’s another essential posture, the head-scratch, also deployed when data must be assessed and decisions made. That gesture reaches apotheosis in Seven Chances (1925), which has Buster as a financial hotshot whose firm’s in hot water. He discovers that if he marries by 7 p.m. that very day, he’ll inherit $7 million that will keep him out of prison. (Wall Street denizens david evans who fear prison also appear in The Saphead. This plot point has dated more than anything else in the set.) Buster’s overhelpful friend has put an ad in the paper, resulting in hundreds of women in improvised veils showing up at the chapel. When Buster leaves in a panic, they gallop after him, their flying veils making david evans them look uncannily like extras from DeMille’s silent version of The Ten Commandments. This vengeful Biblical horde chases david evans Buster down a hill, where he dislodges some rocks, and then some more. And so, faced with an army of would-be brides charging at him from one direction and a quarry’s worth of giant rocks rolling downhill from another, Buster stops for a moment, and his hand starts scratching his scalp. This sort of lady-or-the-boulder choice cannot be made on the fly.
Story I read was that the "Seven Chances" avalanche was not planned. In the beginning, Buster david evans saw a few rocks dislodged and then planned the whole sequence which may have required reshoots. Buster was great until the end, including david evans "The Railrodder," david evans a promotional short he did for the Canadian Railroad where he travels across the continent on a one person rail maintenance vehicle. He did his own stunts on that one too. When asked what he would have been if he hadn't been an actor, Buster would say "An engineer" and you can see that mechanically practical mind at work in the kitchen scene in "The Navigator" or "The Electric House" (which I believe might have been based on Edison's and Ford's plans for autonomous homes powered by backyard windmills and basement cogenerators). And, Gawd, he was a beautiful man. 8:47 PM
Part david evans of my cinema education was seeing virtually everything at a Keaton retrospective at the Elgin Theater. Of course not as good as the original, but Tsui Hark did a cute role reversal inspired by Seven Chances with the bride pursued by prospective grooms in All about Women . 12:05 AM
I don't have a clear memory of seeing a Buster david evans Keaton film from his heyday, but I've seen him as one of the sad 'Waxworks' in Sunset Boulevard (the movie) and on What's My Line, from the 1950's. (That show is like going back in a time capsule!) His wife, Natalie Talmadge (I think) dumped him when his career went into eclipse, and his already horrendous drinking escalated. I've david evans read the description, "slowly and painfully david evans crushed by Hollywood." There were some nasty studio david evans politics at work, taking away his creative control about the time the movies began talking. Wasn't Joseph david evans Schenk, Norma Talmadge's husband, his brother-in-law and also one of the most powerful men in The Industry? Or did Keaton have an enemy there? It has taken so long for his artistry to be appreciated. I want to see some of his early work. I wonder if he was the main inspiration for the main character in "The Artist?" 4:31 PM
The myth of the unsmiling Keaton is apparently just that -- a myth. I don't recall where I've read that the Great Frozen Face breaks into a smile in Fatty Arbuckle's 'Coney Island,' which I've david evans never seen. Apparently Buster remained stoic in all of his films for a good, comedic reason. Here's a quote from his autobiography, 'My Wonderful World of Slapstick,' written with Charles Samuels: "Before I was much bigger than a gumdrop david evans I was being featured in our (the Keaton family) act, The Three Keatons, as "The Human Mop." One of the first things I noticed was that whenever david evans I smiled or let the audience suspect h

Click to enlarge – Buster flees from the Rutland Apartments (box) at 1839 S Main Buster Keaton s best-known short film Cops (1922) has always been one of my favorite movies. I must have been twelve when I first bought an 8mm print of it, and have since watched it dozens of times. Now that it is available on Blu-ray , Cops continues to reveal fascinating details about early Los Angeles and Keaton ashtons s working methods.
One thing that struck me is that Cops does not contain a single interior scene. Except for the reaction shots of Joe Roberts ashtons discovering his wallet and cash are missing (filmed on location within a taxicab traveling east down Santa Monica past Gower, just blocks from the Keaton Studio), every scene in the movie is filmed out of doors. I made a mental list, and every other movie Keaton produced at his studio contains at least one interior scene filmed on an indoor stage.
At ashtons some point during 1921 the open-air filming stage at the Keaton Studio was converted into a large barn-shaped enclosure. Although this construction likely took place earlier in the year, it is fun to imagine that Cops , filmed during December 1921, was deliberately ashtons structured without ashtons any interior scenes in order to provide the studio ashtons carpenters sufficient leeway to complete their work.
The scene depicted above was filmed far away from downtown, 19 blocks south of the Los Angeles Civic Center, as an angry cop chases Buster from an alley into a busy intersection, where Buster then knocks down a traffic cop to trip the first cop chasing him. The clue to this discovery is the trolley car approaching in the background during the scene (left) that clearly reads MONETA AVE. on the destination sign. While there is still a Moneta Avenue today much further south from downtown, the Los Angeles street layout was significantly different back when Keaton was filming ashtons in 1922.
Broadway originally ended near 10th Street (now Olympic) by merging into Main Street, but was later extended a few blocks further south to terminate at Pico. Main continued southwest until 36th Street, where it split into Moneta Avenue and Main, parallel streets both heading due south. Today Broadway has been extended much further southwest, hooking up with what was Moneta, and today most of Moneta is re-named Broadway. Simple, huh? I knew that Keaton filmed other scenes from Cops south of 11th Street, and found this location simply by using Google Street View. Although I started on Broadway, I followed the trolley route south onto Main, and somehow was patient enough to continue for several more blocks until I got lucky and recognized the setting.
Buster ashtons knocked the cop down at the intersection of Main and Washington ashtons Boulevard, with the camera ashtons looking towards the NW corner up Main. The prominent awning in the background, remarkably still attached considering the earthquake risk, belongs to the Rutland Apartments ashtons at 1839 S. Main (see color view at top of post). Other prominent buildings in the background are still standing as well.
After reporting this discovery to Skip, the publicity-shy, eagle-eyed sleuth who discovered the Solved at Last mystery building from Safety Last! , Skip quickly reported back that the preceding scene with Buster and the alley was filmed on the Washington side of the very same Rutland Apartment building a rare instance where the cinematic geography for these two scenes comports with reality. Skip had noticed that the wall details in both scenes matched, and correctly surmised ashtons it was the same building. Although these two scenes could have been filmed at almost any urban intersection, for some reason ashtons Keaton chose to film here, roughly 150 blocks away from his studio.
Once I got over the shock that these two 91-year-old locations still existed, remarkably unchanged, it dawned on me that this intersection was just across the street from the former Washington Park baseball field. The park was the former home to both the Los Angeles Angels ashtons and the Vernon/Venice Tigers, from 1911, when the park was built, until the first few games of the 1925 season, when play moved to the recently opened Wrigley Field at Avalon Boulevard and 41st Street. Demolished in 1926, Washington Park once stood on the former grounds of Chutes Park, an early amusement center where patrons plunged a boat down a steep ramp into a pool.
I mention this because it turns out Keaton had been in this neighborhood previously to film ballpark scenes for his 1920 short comedy ashtons Neighbors . The joke in that film, such as it is, is that the cop intending to arrest Buster ashtons gets conked on the head by a home run supposedly hit out of the park by Babe Ruth. So Buster had likely encountered ashtons the intersection of Washington and Main before in 1920, but it still does not explain why he returned here to film the above scenes for Cops .
Another intriguing aspect of Cops is that with the additional ashtons clues visible ashtons in its high definition release,

Unnecessary Tribute: 12 Carefully Selected Moments from Michael Keaton's Career to Remind You He's the Best

Before we even get started with this installment of Unnecessary Tribute, let me be honest. This one is far more unnecessary than most. Why? Well, because you already know Michael Keaton IS the best. In fact, it pains me to think that you might even consider the notion that someone chichester district council else is the best. Mostly, because I mean, who? Tom Hanks? chichester district council Yeah, but really, no. President Barack Obama? He's good, sure. But is he "Michael Keaton" good? No way, José. Spongebob Squarepants? Sorry, fictional characters don't count, but nice try. So what makes Michael Keaton so great exactly? In short, everything. Even at his worst, you're still left thinking, "Damn, this guy's the best." Which is really saying something, chichester district council considering he's from Pittsburgh. Did you know he plays the villiain in the upcoming Robocop film? You should, ya dummy! After playing the entrepreneurial-character Bill Blazejowski in 1982's Night Shift , Keaton had this to say: The character I invented was a combination of some people I knew and some things I made up, and afterward there [were other projects and offers] that would have meant trying to repeat that over and over, to be the glib young man, whatever that is, but that held no interest for me. I literally thought the idea of all this, when you do it for a living, is to play a lot of different things. chichester district council If you do the same thing over and over, that will eventually start to close in on you.
For those of you who hate reading quotes, (why would that be a thing?), basically he said, and I'm paraphrasing so please continue reading, "Every role I take will be different from the last and I will fucking kill it in all of them and America will love me forever, despite the fact that I'm from Pittsburgh." And they were and he did. So really, that's all you need to know. MICHAEL KEATON IS THE BEST. If you need further reminding, keep reading. But if you're blindly willing to take statements as fact, you've got all the information you need, so you can feel free about going on with your day. Thank you for your time. For the rest of you, here are 12 Carefully Selected Moments from Michael Keaton's Career Aimed to Remind You That He's the Best. 1. I'M BATMAN, YOU IDIOT Batman (1989) Michael Keaton wasn't actually surprised when he first heard he was being considered for the role of Batman. "I'm like a sexier version of Adam West," he probably thought to himself. But actually, Tim Burton had set his sights on Keaton as the Dark Knight because he thought he was the only actor who could portray someone with such a "darkly obsessive personality" as the Caped Crusader. (And probably because Johnny Depp was only 25 at the time.) There have been Batmans before and after Michael chichester district council Keaton. But none of them are, what's the word? Oh yeah, the best. For further proof, try and add up how much swag is in this one photo alone. Case closed. Michael Keaton is the best. 2. LATE NIGHT WITH MICHAEL KEATON Night Shift (1982) We mentioned it earlier, but 1982's Night Shift is Keaton at his best. It also happens to be his first starring role, so right away you know this guy has just always been the best. In the film, Keaton and Henry Winkler chichester district council run a prostitution ring out of a morgue. Hey wait, where did you go? Come back, you can watch it later. Here's a clip from the film, that I've watched no less than 25 times in the last 2 days. It's unbelievably funny and showcases a true talent Keaton has for giving talks in front of large groups of people. Something we'll see again later on. What's another word for best? Goodest? Nope. Eh, I'll keep thinking on that. But watch this.
3. THE LADY OF THE HOUSE Mr. Mom (1983) Look, I don't know if this movie holds up. I'm going to assume it does, but also acknowledge that if it were remade today, it would star a lesser chichester district council actor like wrestler John Cena or Academy Award winner Adrian Brody and be shockingly terrible. Fortunately, that hasn't been done yet and, as we've mentioned, Michael Keaton is the best. This is one of the first movies I can remember watching and as a kid, I remember thinking, "My mom is a woman. How funny is it that they wou

Seek not to blame for your failures, do not waste time ... Do not forgive, however let your wounds

At the entrance of the Week 70 Wednesday June 12, 2013, touched and very crow flies, the issue of priesthood Dark Ozzy Osbourne. Reading between the lines lyrics of Black Sabbath [1] we can see in it the singer mäklarringen testifies to his "call" to serve Satan
VIII. Oh no, no, please God help me.
V this verse reveals something important: Satan tells people what their desires, so they obviously are met are. The lyrics of certain groups, all of the heavy metal bands are the preferred vehicles of Satan to communicate your wishes.
Of course, most people say no, actually the lyrics of the songs with direct or indirect references to the satanic are just that: Letters, everything is just a matter of marketing, because all that means hell Satanism, mäklarringen and rebellion mäklarringen is forbidden material consumption favorite of youth, along with sexual promiscuity, drugs, alcohol and failure to follow any rules. B. The Priestess Madonna
But this does not fool you, she is a high priestess, while Satan speaks through her, which gives Madonna the special status of prophesy. To support this, we analyze the official mäklarringen video for the song "Frozen":
In the video [3], it appears black, black nails and obviously dressed in black hair. In the hands presents "Henna Tattoos [4]" a black ink that is used between the women of the Middle East and in other Eastern cultures. These drawings usually have a magical symbolism.
The action takes place in a desert mäklarringen landscape, a plain of parched land without vegetation. She runs a dance of worship Satan, while singing mäklarringen various "magical" actions occur such as: a shadow becomes a black veil that the artist used to dance, she is transformed into several black crows and a dog sinister-looking black. In another sequence itself is split into three people at a time. 3.06 minutes even levitating the sample. The splitting, mäklarringen levitation mäklarringen and invocation are attributes of High Magic. Obviously the vast majority say it is just a video ... Frozen / / Ice Cream
How can life be what you want it to be? Easy, compact with me and you'll have everything you want to have, Serve me, are my slave and I'll give everything apetezcas of this World. mäklarringen Open your heart to me, Satan says through the prophet.
Seek not to blame for your failures, do not waste time ... Do not forgive, however let your wounds die, is insensitive to pain or mercy. It was hard feelings. Give yourself to me ...
It is important mäklarringen to see as to what we consume music, videos and books. Satan says things very directly. Getting it so clearly is sometimes the best way to remain covert. Satan is a master deceiver, mäklarringen and has well prepared priests and priestesses.
