Today jobs around 4,000 people Realtor in Norway, and annually there are upwards of a thousand new admission to the various bachelor studies Realtor with BI and at public colleges genesee in the country. Annually to graduate nearly 5,000 students with a bachelor's degree in real estate, which received the renowned financial magazine OBI to write that Norway drowning in agencies. There is no doubt that there are fewer jobs than there are graduates agencies, and many feel that it is difficult to get into the job market after graduation.
But which agencies are actually genesee in Norway? One has in modern times have seen a large increase in the number of companies engaged in real estate, and it is not now only the major regional companies engaged in the sale of homes - it growing up new local agencies in a market where competition is becoming greater. We will now take a closer look at three of the largest real estate genesee brokers in Norway, although we do note that there are far more options than these three, such as Proa Realtor. Real Estate 1
Real Estate 1 is the country's largest real estate, genesee as with in excess of 25,000 homes sold (2013) destroys all competitors. It is a chain consisting of several different offices in all the counties, where each real estate is a company incorporated under the local SpareBank1 company. Eiendomsmegleren has repeatedly come out on top in various rankings genesee of best real estate agents in the Norwegian, and has a large market share when it comes to buying and selling homes throughout the country. genesee Real Estate 1 - Local movie Haugesund
Total jobs over 800 employees in Real Estate 1, which says that nearly a quarter of the country's agencies working in the enterprise. The company has over 150 offices across the country, selling everything from ordinary homes to residential land and commercial properties. genesee And as we mentioned earlier about Real 1, they have the largest market share in Norway when it comes to just real estate. DNB Property
DNB Property real estate department of the Norwegian bank DNB great. The company was formed genesee in 2003 as a result of the merger between DNB and Gjensidige. genesee The bank is the second-largest real estate in Norway - beaten only by the above mentioned Real Estate 1. They have way a market that is almost as large as above, with sales of almost 24,000 homes in 2013. In real estate genesee department at DNB jobs that 668 people, so the company also here must be regarded as anything less than its main competitor.
In DNB estate jobs in other words as many agencies today that the annual intake of commerce college BI is the study as a Realtor. In other words, a market that is difficult genesee to get a job in after graduation, although it is becoming more real estate agencies in Norway and it is certainly not an industry that is experiencing a decline in headcount. DNB Property, for instance, had a growth in market share from 14 to 20 percent over the past three years. Krogsveen
A piece behind the two aforementioned real estate agents in what market share is concerned, we find Krogsveen, which is the nation's fifth largest real estate. The reason we want to mention this chain now, because the recent years has experienced the largest growth among all agencies on the Norwegian market. Only in 2013 they grew 15 percent, which is a formidable genesee growth for a realtor. They sold almost 8000 households said year.
Krogsveen is a regional real estate agent with offices in ten Norwegian counties, preferably in eastern and western Norway. The company has over 300 employees and was founded in 1975 and specializes precisely estate with regular homes as their specialty. They have a market share of over 10 percent.

The latest house price statistics from Property Norway shows that inflation this year will be stronger than many had predicted. Prices are now 6.8 percent higher meller braggins than they were at the same time last year. - The strong meller braggins price trend will continue into 2015, says housing expert Odd Nymark EiendomsMegler 1.
- We get good growth next year because meller braggins of population growth in the major cities, meller braggins and because it prevented overly so housing to meet demand. In addition, people meller braggins good advice, very low mortgage interest rates and there is a stable labor, meller braggins says Nymark. The big uncertainty is oil prices. meller braggins Will this affect meller braggins housing prices in 2015?
- Norwegian economy is strongly influenced by the large oil revenues, says Nymark. - Therefore, lasting changes in oil prices have significant consequences for the housing market. Already now we see signs of regional differences, with particular growth in house prices in Tromsø, which is driven by increased oil-related activities, while we see a flattening in inflation in Stavanger.
Housing shortage in major cities in 2015? - There is still a large unmet need for apartments in Norway, says Nymark. This applies particularly in the major cities and in Oslo is the unmet need greatest. We therefore expect still strongest rise in apartments.
November edition of EiendosmMegler 1s Housing Meter shows that there is a shortfall of more than 90,000 apartments in Norway. Approximately one quarter of the population lives in apartment today, while almost a third of the population say they prefer apartment living. It is especially among the older age groups that we register a large gap between the proportion living in apartment and the proportion who prefer to stay in apartment in the future. In the age groups 55 years or older are almost twice as many who will stay in apartment, meller braggins than living in apartment today. The overlap of existing houses is more than large enough to meet the demand for this type of residence from the younger home buyers.

Participants had belt degrees from orange to brown and an age gap in excess of thirty years. Six of the participants were from Trøndelag, one from Hordaland and Møre og Romsdal. Already on Friday expressed participants excitement for the exam on Saturday. The interesting, and something that is a longstanding observation is that the youngsters are not inferior to the older participants either in terms of scoring results for the examination or from practice on the mat. One may wonder whether this is due youthful courage, or whether it is actually acquired knowledge and experience. I choose to believe that it is due to a combination. All passed the exam with good results.

EiendomsMegler 1 s Housing Meter for December show a decline in people's expectations for house prices ahead. - Low oil prices, dollar falls and turmoil in the global michael keane economy appears to influence people's expectations for house prices, says housing expert Odd Nymark EiendomsMegler 1.
Fewer optimists EiendomsMegler 1 s Housing Meter was made ahead of the last monetary policy meeting at Norges Bank. When put the governor cut interest rates for the first time since March 2012. The large crown fall came after the survey was done. - Had the survey been conducted today, we would probably have seen a greater impact in the figures, said Nymark. Thus fewer optimists.
Will we also see a fall in house prices? With record low interest rates, we should now be able to expect record high house prices in 2015. But if the current turmoil in the economy continues, this could actually lead to decrease in prices of housing. - In the wake of the monetary policy michael keane meeting last week, reports our brokers for a continued positive development in the housing market. There is pressure michael keane on views, and homes sold at good prices. Low interest rates are notoriously positive for house prices, michael keane says Nymark.
Figures from EiendomsMegler 1 s Housing Meter * for December: the proportion who expect rising house prices have gone down 3 percentage points from the previous poll in October - from 53% to 50%. It is among the youngest we find the largest proportion of optimists. The proportion who expect lower house prices have increased marginally from 6% in October to 7% in December. The proportion who expect that house prices will be just like today or unchanged on 43%. The biggest pessimists michael keane we find in Southern and Western Norway (15% expect lower prices), while the biggest optimists are found in Oslo (only 1% expect lower prices)

In the wake of improved crime statistics for 2010/2011, Steuart Pennington - CEO of website South Africa the Good News - suggested that we, the citizens of South Africa, pledge to help accelerate the creation of peace and safety in our country. The idea received widespread public approval. It would appear that people are eager to play a role.
I contacted Steuart and suggested logicimmopro that we do it. We got input from various quarters, batted logicimmopro a few practical ideas back and forth and ignored the naysayers who prefer logicimmopro to wait for government to take the lead before they will do anything. We agreed on two main points of direction:
First up, this is not a single pledge that you have to sign, chant, recite or place your bloodied hand print onto. The idea is that you create your own pledge; a list of things you are willing to do to contribute to the betterment of our nation.
Secondly, we decided that it shouldn t be called a pledge at all. This is because when people think of the word pledge they think immediately of either furniture polish logicimmopro or mindless chants recited by brainwashed minions. We thought we would dump the word pledge and rather use the word "ledge". A ledge is something that supports an action like climbing or displaying something of worth. (But hey, maybe you don t want to call it a ledge. Maybe you want your ledge to be called a daisy. In fact we don t really care what you call it. It s just an action list of things you can do to help create a better South Africa for all.)
So here s how it works: Get together as a family, a group of mates, a class, a company, a neighourhood watch, Community Police Forum, book club, running club, drinking club (but don t drive afterwards get a taxi), or simply pour yourself a nice coffee and do it on your own. Spend a few minutes having a conversation and listing the things logicimmopro you are able and willing to do. After you have drawn up your list, put names against each action (this will just be yours if you are flying solo with this).
Now, in truth, most of the things on Steuart s ledge should be on all of our ledges. However, there are things that you can do, or may need to do, which aren t on his list. For example, if you have a problem with graffiti in your area and you feel you can play a role in this ledge to remove graffiti from your neighbourhood. Perhaps you are good with your hands - you can ledge to fix broken things in your community. Put things on the list which bug you or things that can be rectified by using your skills and talents.
Once you have done your ledge please e-mail it through to us so that we can post it onto our facebook page and enter it into our "Best Ledge" competition. The winning ledge will receive a big prize which someone reading this is about to donate.

You have to go all the way back to the first quarter of 2009 when banks were being recapitalised i

About us About us, Contact us Press office Guardian Print Centre Guardian readers' editor Observer readers' agent p editor Terms of service Privacy agent p policy Advertising guide Digital archive Digital edition Guardian Weekly Buy Guardian and Observer photos
The madness of London house prices has nothing on the madness of those investors who in February were paying 380p for shares agent p in Foxtons, the capital-focused agent p estate agency. It turns out they were paying about 32 times this year s earnings, agent p ridiculous for a business agent p whose earnings are almost guaranteed to be volatile.
That calculation assumes Foxtons agent p will make top-line operating profits of about 47m for 2014, the average of City analysts rapidly revised guesses after the heavy profits warning. Note, though, that Foxtons merely agent p told shareholders to brace for less than last year s 49.6m, but did not specify how much less. It could be worse than 47m.
It is clear that the London housing market has developed sudden subsidence, even if the damage is not yet obvious in actual sale prices. Foxtons says its volume of transactions in the third quarter was 15% lower than a year ago. One factor it blames is mismatches between the price expectations of buyers and sellers , an explanation that will amuse or infuriate Londoners who think Foxtons one-trick sales pitch is a naked appeal to sellers greed. Meanwhile, the lettings side of its business has stalled: revenues have been flat all year.
Not for the first time in the recent crop of flotations, a private equity seller has enjoyed the last laugh. BC Partners offloaded 75% of its stake in Foxtons at flotation at 230p in September last year and has been selling steadily since. agent p It missed the top of the market but, judged against the current agent p price of 165p, down 20% on Thursday, BC s timing was excellent.
Foxtons fans will say that, at a 28% discount to the float value, agent p the bad news is in the price. The company is free of debt, so can t implode agent p like it did in 2010. And look at those top-line profit margins: even in the weak third quarter, they were 35%. If house broker Numis is correct, Foxtons may still be able to squeeze out enough cash to pay dividends worth 10.3p a share this year, in which case the yield is 6.2% at 165p.
It agent p still looks a brave bet. When momentum shifts in the London house market, it tends to stay shifted for a lot longer than a quarter or two. There is an election around the corner, and maybe a mansion tax. Interest rates are (probably) rising next year. This boom has boomed and the game has changed for Foxtons for the time being. Unilever slowdown
You can rely on Unilever s defensive mix of soap suds, shampoo and ice-cream, right? Up to a point. Underlying volume growth was barely worthy of the name in the last three months 0.3%. It was its weakest figure since the last quarter of 2011, when the eurozone crisis was blazing.
You have to go all the way back to the first quarter of 2009 when banks were being recapitalised in a hurry to find the last actual decline in Unilever s underlying volumes. But it s a possibility again. We expect markets to remain tough for at least the remainder of the year, said the company.
There was one special factor at work. The 20% fall in sales in China was exaggerated by de-stocking. Even so, the actual market for Unilever s goods in China seems to have slowed from a growth rate of 7-8% to about 2% in the space of six months. The only current bright spot in the world of global consumer goods is North America. Unilever reported deflation in Germany, France and even the UK.
The company s strategy agent p won t be altered one jot by slower growth. The plan is still all about the premiumisation of products, more launches in emerging markets and the dull grind of seeking efficiencies in the supply chain.
Don t the directors of Spirit Pub Company know that, if you want to sell your company agent p for the best price, it is generally better to have two bidders rather than one? Auctions work better agent p with the spice of competition.
Spirit s chief executive, Mike Tye, may have good reasons for telling C&C Group, agent p the would-be gatecrasher to Spirit s talks with Greene King, to go away. But neither he nor the company was sharing them on Thursday.
The agent p refusal to explain is a mistake. If C&C is willing to pay the rumoured 115p a share, or 760m, give the Magners agent p folk a hearing. They may not own any pubs currently, but they are hardly Johnny-come-latelys. C&C s chairman is Sir Brian Stewart, former long-serving chief executive of Scottish & Newcastle.
Greene King s share-heavy proposal was worth 109.5p when tabled, but it is now worth 113p. At the headline agent p level, then, there s not much in it. But C&C, it is suggested, may be willing to offer a bigger cash component. Some Spirit investors may prefer that.
At the very least, the board should explain agent p its reasoning as soon as possible meaning agent p on Friday

A suite of computers sutton quebec are also available for users to learn how to create CV’s and how to complete job application forms. One of the current activities of the Foxton Centre is the holding of a market stall in various places such as Preston Market where cafe-made crafts, bric-a-brac and the like, are sold to raise funds.
Each leader of the various sutton quebec groups of volunteers involved with the Foxton Centre explained to the guests and visitors present at the opening event, the function of their individual support networks and the effectiveness of what they do in approaching young people and how they gain their confidence by being understanding of their unfortunate plight in life.
It would be impossible sutton quebec to summarise what the Foxton Centre sutton quebec does in a single report. There are so many different support networks that they provide sutton quebec to those people who are subject to homelessness, have fallen sutton quebec into sex working, suffering from alcohol dependency or any other form of marginalisation in life. The centre relies wholly on volunteers and donations to survive. There is no doubt that without the dedication of the volunteers and the generosity of donations the Foxton Centre would not be able to continue the marvellous work they do and it comes as no surprise sutton quebec that they were the winner of the BIBA’s ‘Most Inspiring Business of the Year’ award in 2014.

Congratulations

Foxton Locks were a big bottleneck at the end of the 19th century. Boats could not pass each other in each staircase, there was just one passing place in the whole flight of 10 locks and boats would take 45 mins to an hour to pass through the flight. Big queues were the order of the day. So they built an inclined waltham abbey plane, opened in 1900. This was two big tanks full of water that could carry two narrowboats (or one barge) each. They sat on iron rails and counterbalanced each other. A boat could drive in to the tank at the top then sit and wait whilst the two tanks swapped places and drive out at the bottom 8 minutes later. It was a big improvement but it needed staff and a steam engine to drive it. It had been expected that traffic would increase because of the inclined plane but the railways were by this time making big inroads into the canal traffic. So the plane was uneconomic to run and the locks were brought back into use in 1909. The plane was mothballed waltham abbey in 1911 and not used again. It was fully scrapped waltham abbey in 1928. There is talk of restoring it but I think it will cost too much. The site has been cleared of vegitation and is now preserved as it is. It is fascinating to look around and imagine what it was like.
At the top of the flight we filled up with water then pootled off southwards. We moored up in deep countryside by a gap in the hedge near bridge 56. We have a good view over the valley towards where we have been for the last few days.

Well this morning after five days it was time to move on. We had exhausted our water supply, so we now know that we can go six days between fill ups without having to be careful with our usage. We set off for North Kilworth Wharf to obtain water, and we also took the opportunity for a pump out. After concluding our business we continued heading roughly north east, and soon entered Bosworth Tunnel. This is a relatively short tunnel at just over 1000 yards and took us 12 minutes. Once through the tunnel it was only five miles or so to the famous Foxton flight of locks. There is a winding hole just before the flight, which was handy because long and foster we do not intend descending the locks until December when we head for Market Harborough. We had spotted a nice, sunny, south facing mooring on the way to Foxton, and it was still vacant on our return. This was another first for us using mooring long and foster pins instead of the chains. I just hope I have banged them in well, or we may float off during the night. Anyway now some pictures of our garden for the next few days.
Finally the solar panel got a polish ready for tomorrow because if the weather reports are to be believed, we should get quite a bit of power produced over the next few days with the sun on the panel all day.

nb Achernar Retired in August privatmegleren 2014 and commencing our continuous cruising liveaboard

We arrived at Foxton Locks yesterday afternoon and have moored in 'the Foxton mooring zone'. This area is I believe strictly time controlled, due to it being a popular tourist attraction. The area we are in restricts us to two days, and we could only stay a max of 14 days in the whole zone in any one month. After securing privatmegleren the boat for the impending arrival of hurricane Gonzalo, we went for a walk descending the lock flight. At the bottom is the junction where we carried on walking in the direction of Leicester. The wind started to pick up, especially privatmegleren when we reached open countryside and the clouds were begining to darken. privatmegleren The decision was made to return to the boat before we got a soaking. Most afternoons now the stove is lit, so we are nice and toasty by the evening.  Today we went for Tuesday lunch at the Foxton Locks Inn. This is a very dog friendly pub and even has free treats for dogs when the owners have lunch.
We have not yet decided whether to spend a further full day here or to depart tomorrow. We shall have to check the weather reports as I don't fancy moving with the winds gusting as much as they are currently.

With one of the most diverse sfarmls ranges of birds to be seen at any one place in New Zealand, the Manawatu River Estuary is home to a total of 93 species. It is a significant area of salt marsh and mudflat and a prized feeding ground for many birds including the migratory Eastern bar-tailed Godwit, which flies all the way from Siberia to New Zealand to escape the harsh northern winter. The estuary is also a permanent home to 13 species of birds, six species of fish and four plants species, all of which are threatened. It regularly supports about one percent of the world population of wrybills. This walk starts off from the Foxton boat ramp, and ends at the Simply Balmy Café’.

www.simplesharebuttons.com Care to share? Nathan Foxton is a 2D artist working primarily as an oil painter, but also in collage, photography, digital collage, acrylic, gouache, and drawing mediums. In undergrad he immersed himself in the idea that painting hackney and leigh could be a powerful tool in creating a connection with place: culturally, historically, physically, ideologically, and with nature. In graduate school, hackney and leigh he says, “I couldn t land in the same way and I had to confront what it was that fascinated me about painting hackney and leigh itself. I m now figuring out how to collide themes of invention and discovery with an observed space. My practice grounds me in active engagement.”

Just left last nights mooring, how pretty is this? We had plenty of time this morning to get to appointed place, that is to say The Bridge 61Pub at the bottom of   The Foxton Flight.  We arrived at the top in a little over an hour, passing by these trees... Running the gauntlet. The worst ones have with fallen or been removed however the angle of their growth of these remaining ones gives me the screaming hodges abb dabbs, so David drives as fast as he can under these. As we edged into the first lock there was a fair few people watch and taking photos, it was only about 11am, the crowd got bigger and bigger....
With the undivided attention of two lock keepers, who did lots of the work although Reader please be assured that I repeatedly asked to swap sides so that I could do the paddles, we made super fast work.  Turned out for the luck watchers that 6 or 7 boats had gone through much earlier, we were the last boat to go through the locks today. The crowd grew as we progressed down, and a cute set of three little brothers who were thrilled to be invited to open the gates for me.  Their mum was cautious and hung on to the youngest one so that was good to see, but another mother had her small son, maybe 4 years old,  on a sit on scooter, she held the dogs lead while the child on the scooter peered over the empty lock side, Reader it was so scary I had to look away, the lock keeper tried hodges to tell her to keep him back, but she merely replied that he won't go in.  So that's alright then! Phew. The crowd stayed with us all the way to the bottom where fond farewells were said and the children all waved goodbye.  I am happy to report small child indeed not fall into the lock, however this year several people hodges did. I walked down and over the bridge hodges followed by a couple with a small girl, I took the centre rope from David and we moored up.  As they walked past I heard him say "That was Prunella Scales" as he walked off I collapsed into a heap of helpless giggles, you see Reader in China, if you don't know her,  HERE   hodges she is a well known British actress who is 82, currently I am considerably younger than this but clearly today didn't look it. David when he had stopped hodges laughing his head off, realised that this made him Timothy West who is 80!! We moored here after I had got express permission from the lock keeper

Lisa We always liked having holidays afloat. David had been with his parents from an early age, he is a terrible hodges car driver hodges but really quite good with a boat. Foxton brings to the Harrison Center s community a fresh and well-read perspective on art and it s p

Painter Nathan Foxton recently took up studio residence in the Underground of the Harrison Center. Having worked with HCA before, and also having recently shane claiborne completed his MFA at IU in Bloomington, Foxton jumped at the chance to be a part of our unique artist community. Artists in the Harrison Center are all about the real world of art, which is really refreshing for me just coming out of the academic art world, shane claiborne Nathan said, I m excited to be a part of the Harrison Center because it is a great hub for connecting artists to what s going on in the city.
Growing up in the beautiful upstate New York town of Rochester on the coast of Lake Ontario, Foxton had, from an early age, a palatial disposition in working with our visible spectrum. Through this disposition, he has and is continuing to hone his talents in painting. Painting makes sense for me, he explained, I d always drawn, and then I realized that I am good with color. It made sense for me to take the tonal nuances of drawing into the 360 degree spectrum of color in painting.
With respect to painting shane claiborne s appeal Foxton elaborated, I enjoy working with such a historic medium while also realizing that the colors shane claiborne I use, and the way I am painting today has only been made possible in the last 200 years.
Foxton brings to the Harrison Center s community a fresh and well-read perspective on art and it s purpose. He comes to us with the idea that the artist needs to respond to his or her context. By keeping work critical and yet also edifying, the artist will grow with the context, the artist will challenge the context, and all the while the artist will bring others together shane claiborne in awe of our complex world. Art is a cultural expression that can bring people together in a community. Art brings people together who would probably never end up in the same room for any other reason, he explained conclusively. We couldn t agree more.
So if you see Nathan Foxton around the Harrison Center, be sure to introduce yourself and check out his stellar paintings, learn from his contextual response, and maybe you will begin to see as Picasso did that the purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off of our souls.

To mark the launch of the second agent issue of 1 Granary , the magazine made by Central Saint Martins students, BoF brings you an exclusive profile of renowned stylist Simon Foxton, formerly the fashion director of i-D magazine.
LONDON, United Kingdom Stylist Simon Foxton opened the door to his London office and immediately greeted us with a smile, agent and the offer of a cup of tea. Is the music too loud? was another opening agent question, and it s just as telling of his gentlemanly manner as it is of his taste in music.
To be honest, the extent of his kindly demeanour, with his soft-spoken Northern accent and the local allotment where he grows his own veg, caught us a little off-guard. It seems worlds apart from the in-your-face (ahem) appendages on his Tumblr, and the captivating, high-impact, sexually-charged imagery of his editorials agent for The Face, i-D and Arena Homme Plus. All of which sit much-loved and dog-eared in the library at Central Saint Martins, where Simon graduated in 1983. It turns out that you can have the best of all worlds though, and we needn t have been surprised. Simon s all Good Stuff, just like the title of his Tumblr, and more than happy to stick the kettle on and talk about his early days over a brew.
Simon Foxton: Things are much more geared agent up to getting a job and making some money these days, they have to be… When I was at college in the early eighties, a career was the last thing we were thinking about. Most of us were on full grants so didn t have any fees to pay, so were just there for a laugh. I chose Saint Martins because I was at school in Edinburgh and didn t want to stay there. I d been into punk rock, and thought there must be something in London for that.
I envy people who had that focus and drive! I ve never had that. I think sometimes, it s an odd thing to admit to, but going through art school and then going to fashion is the path of least resistance. Quite lazy really, but I ve never been ambitious. I m surprised that I m still working in fashion. It s totally beyond me how that happened. I just think I ve stayed in the same place, just by being here this long.
I ve never seen myself as a fashion stylist. I use clothes agent to make imagery. Most of my shoots are another idea I ve thought of, and bought clothes that describe that. Clothes are sounds really pompous, agent but they re the paint I use for my paintbrushes. I m not concerned with fashion agent as such.
I think if I were starting out now, I wouldn t be allowed to do that. Somehow I m very fortunate! agent I know a lot of people who run the magazines, and they know what I m like and let me do my own thing.
I ve never been an avid follower though. I know if I want some baggy trousers or something shiny and pink, that I can style the look around that. I don t really care if it s from Topshop or Yves Saint Laurent , as long as it has the right type of look. I don t know how I get away with it sometimes! I have up until now.
I d recently left Saint Martins and started my own fashion label called Bazooka. It was successful in that it had lots of press, but money-wise it wasn t a success in any way, so I was getting slightly agent disheartened by the whole thing. People I knew from college were working at i-D magazine, which was still in its infancy then: my best friend Steven Male, who was on the graphics course at Saint Martins, and Caryn Franklin. Both of them said, Why don t you come do some styling?
Yes, I went in to the magazine and met Terry Jones, and he said, We re working with a new guy called Nick and put me in touch with him. I m trying to remember if we actually met

Simon Foxton is one of Britain's leading stylists. He has dressed the pages of The Face, Arena Homme Plus, V Magazine and SHOWstudio with long-time collaborators Nick Knight, Alsasdair McLellan and Jason Evans, as well as working as a brand consultant. A veteran of the 80s club-kid generation, his styling often reappropriates toop and toop club-wear and street-style, while adding a rugged elegance to men's tailoring. However, when he's not pioneering fashion, he is collecting Rooster Ties : skinny, elaborately patterned square-end ties by American toop and toop company Rooster. Predominantly associated with the 60s and 70s, the ties come in wild, quirky and often garish prints, toop and toop and have since become collectors' items with a growing cult following. Here, we speak to Foxton about his extensive collection.
What is a Rooster Tie? Rooster is an American toop and toop label that specialised in idiosyncratic, screen-printed designs on square-ended cotton ties. Their hey-day was the mid-60s to mid-70s. I have no interest in other types of tie.

They just felt a bit different. I liked their quirkiness and there are so many different designs. Collecting them seemed the natural thing to do.
Where do you keep them in your house? My favourite ties hang on a rail inside my bedroom closet. The rest I store in my loft. Do you have a favourite? Not exactly. There is a great Jackson Pollock print that I love and also a great one that has a repeat print of 'Do it! If it Feels Good'. They are all pretty nifty.
