We bounty collection is progressing well! R773 190 (32% checkpoints) have been paid. We thank God for the joyful gratitude that members contribute. We knew the attitude which 2 Cor 9:7 call: "EVERYONE MUST GIVE AS HE IN HIS HEART HAVE TAKEN FOR HIM, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Our aim is R950 000. If you do not have an envelope with a covering letter, we kindly request that you contact your elder / service worker or the church office. You can also make a payment electronically. Bank Details: DRC Welgemoed, ABSA check account 340580761.
The format of the Quiet Hour takes place on Wednesday evenings, has been amended in order to pray for the campaign 40Dae. The chapel is still open for those who want to pray, but we also pray for the campaign 40Dae. You do not need to attend the full hour. You can come between 18:30 to 19:30 for the period of time at your disposal.
We are a friendly, but urgent appeal garorock to our members to please not close car parking ramps at homes around the church. We have the past few Sundays complaints from homeowners, especially on Craig Street side received.
All council members should take note of a special GCR meeting held on November 25 after the 09:00 service held in the church.
